![]() ![]() Like many, I admired the work that people like Ruth Bader Ginsberg did in the legal field and I was always mesmerised by the work of lawyers. Over the course of my internship, and reflecting on ENGINEER 4A03, I started flirting with the idea of pursuing a law degree after engineering. Churchill was a fantastic professor teaching it. It was a class I thoroughly enjoyed, and Dr. ![]() I realized my favourite course at Mac was ENGINEER 4A03: Ethics, Equity & Law. During the days of the pandemic, working at my internship, I too, had the same existential crisis - what next? Should I do a Masters? Should I work full-time? What is my calling? That last one stuck. It’s likely that many of you are currently at this stage: thinking you need to have everything figured out but having no idea where to begin or what to do. Aside from academics, I did my best to seize each day at Mac (inspiration taken from my favourite movie, Dead Poets Society) but it wasn’t until my penultimate year that I even began thinking about what was to come after. For me, studying engineering was just the logical, but more so, safer next step for me. ![]() ![]() I completed Software Engineering in 2022, and upon graduating, I moved to the United States where I am currently studying law. Some of the best and most supportive people I’ve had the pleasure of interacting with were Marauders. I had the immense pleasure of spending some of the best years of my life within the corridors of Mac. ![]()
